Emmi Meets Santa

Emmilene was thrilled to help us pick our small Christmas tree.

But even happier to help decorate it.

We went to Macy's a couple weeks ago to see the window displays and meet Santa. We found out the trick to avoid long lines... go at 8:30 at night.

The Santa was sooooo nice! He obviously loves kids, and Emmilene loved him!

She told him all her secret wishes for Christmas.

She is cvery excited about her first Christmas! And so are we...

Jeff + Megan + 3,000 Green Apples

This was the reason we went to Canada...

Well, that was a false alarm while we were waiting for the new couple's entrance, although if there were no Salmon grandparents, there would be no little Salmon's getting married.

Welcome to the family, Megan!

And the reception...

Some danced...

And some dropped...

But we all had fun!

Thanksgivin'

For the Thanksgiving holiday, we went to Jay's parents in Alberta, Canada.  Everyone was coming for Jeffrey's wedding, but Em and I went a couple days early so Emmilene had her grandparents and aunts (And Uncle Jeffy) all to herself.

Her grandma got all the gear in preparation for 9 grandkids, and Emmi had her first sit in a high chair.

Finally Jay came the day before Thanksgiving.

Emmi loved meeting her cousins!  She wanted to love them a little too much, hence the restraint.

She also met another Emmeline... Jay's friends lovely little girl.

Thanksgiving Dinner!!  Even though Canada celebrated in October, we had the works, including a nice great-grandma.

More cousins

Cousins are so fun!

My Birfday

Even though this event was  month ago, just wanted to mention what a great time I had.

First, I woke up to this...

And this...
(sorry, I started eating it so fast!)

And that night I went out with him...

To here...

And walked around here...

(until we were assaulted by a homeless man that thought we were taking pictures of him)

And came home to do this...

It was a lovely day!  Thanks my two sweeties!  (and our friends A and K for watching the little munchkin).
