Granny

Granny sounds like a very old and lovable little woman. While Grandma Salmon is not old, she is lovable. She came to visit us this cold month and we had so much fun with her, we didn't have time to take many pictures.

She was a great help with Emmi leaving the world of diapers behind. Yep... she is "trained", at least I hope. Grandma also got her a booster seat so she could join us at the table. She loved it so much, she wore it like an accessory.

While she was here, Robert had his 6 month birthday. We celebrated with a little baby cereal, which he still does not care for. But he loves to chew on the spoon.

Robbie is a fun-loving, easy-going and energetic little guy. He can sit up and started scooting with Grandma's encouragement. He loves the new found freedom of getting where he wants to go, which is usually in the path of his sister.

He also learned to walk around in circles in this little gizmo.

We love Grandma and Robbie!

Just a few thousand Christmas pictures...

Ok, not really that many, but close. We started the festivities at our house in NYC, and then traveled to my parents in Southern Idaho.

Once we got there, Emmi just walked around the house for hours. She is so used to tight quarters.
There were so many fun things to do... make cookies, read Christmas stories, eat cookies, make snowmen, sledding, caroling, and play with cousins! (E and R only have 2 cousins on this side, so it is good they get along with each other so well! It helps that they are both within 2 months of each other and really cute.)

Lilly and Emmi were together as much as possible in the short 36 hours she was there.

Meeting Great-Grandpa Nelson

Little Avi and Mr R hit it off...
played and worked well together.

Christmas Eve traditions include caroling (which required extensive warming up exercises en route) and reading the Nativity.

Yeah for Christmas Day!
Although she likely does not have a modeling career in her future, we love her still the same.
