LOST

Tragedy has struck in the form of an evil SD card.  

For some reason, we lost over 100 photos from the last few days.  You can assume they were amazing pictures of me, and you will never again see such beauty ... but actually they were mostly of our little lady, who is beautiful to us.  We will have to take lots more to make up for our loss.

BBQ, Bon Jovi, and Fireflies

We went on our weekly date last Saturday to eat some good ole' BBQ (which mesmerized Emmilene), and then for a walk in Central Park.  

Since we didn't get tickets to the Bon Jovi concert that was playing there on the great lawn, we could only walk as far as the barriers would allow.  

We could have snuck in with some of the stealthy onlookers (some people were not sneaky at all and got caught every time, like this grandma in a mini skirt).  But strollers were not allowed, so we settled for sitting on a deserted park bench and watched the fireflies.

It was very romantic...even with a stroller.

Holiday Weekend

We celebrated Emmilene's one month birthday all weekend long, as well as our nations birthday.

On thursday, Emmi and I went uptown and visited the hospital I work at.  She was pretty popular with the ladies.

The Fourth was a day of relaxation.  We slept in, went on a little walk, watched the fireworks on TV, and went to bed early.

Then Saturday was exciting as Emmilene took her first car ride!  We also visited her first foreign state, New Jersey, where we went to a BBQ with my co-workers.  She was a little disappointed she didn't get to swim in their pool.

And Sunday we got to go to church with a handsome (and clean-shaven) escort.
