A Walk Through Central Park

Happy Spring! My favorite time of year.  We took a little walk on Sunday, and the blossoms are out and beautiful!  Many thought so too, as there were lots of photographers.  Of course, there were all of the usual park people out....buskers, bands, chess players, jugglers, movie-makers and rollerskate dancers.  But we mostly took pictures of the trees.

(Nice pantleg, Jay)

And no walk through the park would be complete without a celebrity sighting...this was a superhero to be exact.  I didn't want to be rude, so I didn't zoom in.  Can you see him?  He was probably headed for a cave.

Easter, Weddings, and Blueberry Muffin

A couple of weeks ago, we had the chance to visit my family for my youngest sister's wedding. Unfortunetly, there was an incident with our poor camara, so we didn't take too many pictures. Natasja and Don were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on a very sunny day.

We were happy to have Mauvia (adopted sister) and her little red-headed family visiting for the weekend. This is little Tate representing in his dapper suit.

The happy couples...
(The newlyweds and my parents.)

This is Ben and Tate, and below Jay and Zoe are having a very intense conversation. Zoe, age 6, decided a good name for our baby would be Blueberry Muffin. She has good taste, it is much better than Bran or Raisin.

We were happy to be around for Easter and all its usual festivities. Some people get really into egg decorating, like my brother Gunnar.

The Easter bunny came, of course, leaving everyone baskets of candy...except ours did not seem comparable.  He must have a sense of humor.

Everyone got into the candy gathering, even Grandma.

Once we got back to the East coast, we had the chance to go to our friends, Kristina and Aaron's wedding in D.C. This was the first time either of us had been in the DC Temple.

The reception was in a lovely hall nearby. Unfortunetly, we didn't get a very clear picture of the happy couple...

It's a little more tricky to dance close with a 7 month bump in the way.

Even though we were there during Cherry blossom season, we didn't have time to get to Jefferson Memorial, the main visting site. But there were beautiful trees all over town.

Well, another long post.  Little Blueberry kicks her hello.
