This is our Valentine Sweetheart

Happy 9 Months, Sweet Em!

It is hard to believe 9 months ago we were just becoming acquainted with this little bundle of joy;

And somewhere along the way she became one of these...

But we couldn't love her more!!


PS - forgot to mention she has been crawling three weeks now.

Our Yearly MOMA Visit

We usually go to the Museum of Modern Art at least anually.  This time Emmi came along and had some inspiration on how to redecorate our apartment.  

She would love to make furniture from paper, but she has to control her overwhelming desire to tear it to shreds.

This recliner was especially exciting for her as she loves to collect cardboard boxes.

(and chew on them).

And breaking a dish wouldn't be so bad if the pieces were used as a lamp.

But her favorite thing at the MOMA right now is the giant lounge art with soft benches, a carpeted area to play, and 4 walls of colorful images designed to soothe you to an artistic calm.

I really didn't understand the boar vs. apple lady, but it was nice to relax. 

Em even made a friend...

Salt n' Pepper

Just some random photos of our girl.

I put her hair in a ponytail one day and she looked so grown up!  It didn't last long with her vigorous agenda...

And then we tried 2 ponytails that met the same fate... pretty impressive, though, for an 8 month old.
