Little Robert Jay was blessed on August 29 by his father. He slept through it mostly (Robert, I mean). We had a lot of family come from far, like Calgary, Idaho, Chicago and Rwanda (well, kinda...). What a supportive family! Although I am sure it didn't hurt that we live in such an exciting city.
We somehow forgot to take pictures of just Robert... this is all we have.
In honor of his birth, Robert received a silver spoon from Jay's company. He was very excited about it.

Thanks for letting us come and have so much fun at Robert's blessing, we were so grateful to have been there. Jay did such a good job of the blessing and his little talk in church. We had a fantastic time being with you. Cathy had a great time as well, don't think she can add comments from her computer.

That is one cute little suit, Robert. I don't think I got to see the little man on the big day. Your captions are hilarious but that is because you are too. A silver spoon for the birthday boy. That is really fancy and pretty cool.
