Just a few thousand Christmas pictures...

Ok, not really that many, but close. We started the festivities at our house in NYC, and then traveled to my parents in Southern Idaho.

Once we got there, Emmi just walked around the house for hours. She is so used to tight quarters.
There were so many fun things to do... make cookies, read Christmas stories, eat cookies, make snowmen, sledding, caroling, and play with cousins! (E and R only have 2 cousins on this side, so it is good they get along with each other so well! It helps that they are both within 2 months of each other and really cute.)

Snowman has "The Smolder"

Lilly and Emmi were together as much as possible in the short 36 hours she was there.

Meeting Great-Grandpa Nelson

Little Avi and Mr R hit it off...
played and worked well together.

Christmas Eve traditions include caroling (which required extensive warming up exercises en route) and reading the Nativity.

Yeah for Christmas Day!
Although she likely does not have a modeling career in her future, we love her still the same.

First Annual Ginger-Bread-House-With-Graham-Crackers-Instead Making Contest, complete with awards ceremony and candy banquet.

Visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa Salmon

And what trip to Idaho is complete without a little visit to Lava Hot Springs...

Do you have a second installment coming? LOVE the pictures!! So sorry I missed the visit. I thought you had already gone, and I had a whopping Sunday afternoon headache when you called. Sad days...glad G&G got some visiting in...WAY MORE IMPORTANT for you to "share the love" with them anyway!!

Wow Emmi's Spanish is pretty good in that video. Such cute kids. The picture of Jay and Robert in front of the Christmas tree deserves a frame it's so good. It was so fun to see you. It was nice to hang out and feel like no time had passed. It makes me miss you just thinking about it.

It looks like you guys had such a fun time. Seeing your whole family together made me very nostalgic. Emmi is such a character! And little Robbie melts my heart!

Aww....I miss the Nelson clan!! And might I add..you guys are supertalented with those grahm houses. I remember in YW we made those, and I could never get mine to stand up! Thats why I have a prebaked and decorated ginberbread house from Williams Sonoma i bought on clearance over 5 yrs ago, and its still intact. :-)
