Shooting on our Street

There are two kinds of shootings in New York City... this is the kind where they take over 6 blocks for two days with a LOT of trailers and tempting food tables. So recently on our street, they shot the finale episode of some show called "A Gifted Man", which I don't know about, but it had a lot of special effects and a lot of people... like really, hundreds of people standing around, most doing something that looked like nothing.

It was a car crash scene where two cabs collide, and then explode. Below is the main guy trying to pry open the door to get the lady out before the taxi blows up. I wanted to tell him he should just open the other door, but they would have probably attacked me and taken me out.

One woman's entire job was to hold the trapped ladies coat just in case she needed it. She would run up to the car when the filming stopped and try to put it on her, and sometimes she was sent back.

We should have taken pictures of the taxi after it was toasted. Emmi was a little confused at the car accident and why no one was helping them. She still asks about what happened to the taxi and the lady inside. So if anyone watches this show, let me know if you see us.
