Oh Canada

A long time ago, we went on a big trip that started at the Salmon's house in Calgary, Alberta.  (Shouldn't Robbie be on some Canadian Tourism advertisement?)

We happened to be there on the 4th of July, so we had to make our own little celebration.

This was actually like 8:30 at night, it just looks like midday because they are so north... hence the PJ's.

And the main reason we left our home with a 5 week old...
Joanne (Jay's sister) and Kyle's wedding.

Bribes for smiling from uncle John, red chewy sticky Swedish Fish.

The Reception was lovely...

Sue Ann made the amazing cake.

Alita was thrilled for her sister.

Robbie took this photo, can you tell?

Uncle Anders and my parents came up.

We did lots of other stuff while in Canada, like hiking (really walking very slowly on a paved flat road, but for the kids, it was a lot),

Playing duck duck goose.

And we visited the Stampede in it's anniversary year

Breakfasts were fun with 16 grandkids.

Visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa Salmon

First donut, haha.

We played at a lake, which one daughter loved, and the other did not.
We celebrated Robbie's 2nd birthday.

(Sometimes we call him "Mr. Dorito Fingers")

Family Home Evening

This is what happens when you and your cousin dump a bottle of shampoo in the tub - an awesome bath with more bubbles than water.
