Well, the people have spoken. We are now able to post recent pictures from our life. But to catch up a little, here is a little taste of where we live and what we do...(this is Kjerstina, by-the-way)...
We couldn't be in New York without enjoying eating out once in awhile....
We go in marvelous walks here in the city...without a car, you might as well try to enjoy having to walk everywhere.
The Beach! We live so close, but don't go as often as we should...
We have visited several museums...
And the NY Aquarium
We love to go to (free) concerts...
(Bon Jovi on Today Show)
Sometimes we get to a sporting event...in the best seats, of course!
You can pretty much find a parade on any weekend for any holiday, religion, minority group, or country.
Pictured are the West Indian Day Parade (where Jay served his mission), and the Parade for Israel, respectively.
We go to Church, where Jay helps teach the young men and Kjerstina hangs out in Primary (children).

I can't believe you've seen tennis at the US Open!! I'm jealous. Bottom line. Although meeting someone with a bucket of chicken comes close... Glad you're taking full advantage of what New York offers...makes me want to visit!
I thought I posted a comment...might be a duplicate in a bit! Bottom line is that I saw your nosebleed shot of center court at the US Open and became insanely jealous! What's up with that?! I'm gonna have to watch for cheap airline tickets the end of August...if you're not tripping elsewhere! Love the shots though. I'm glad you're enjoying New York and all it offers (including direct flights to Paris!).
OK--I have to admit, we did in fact go to the US Open, but it got rained out! I was just trying to put in another sports picture! We did sit there for hours hoping it would start, so I figured it counted. But the good news is they gave us tickets for this year...so we are going in a couple weeks. Sorry to mislead there folks!
The pics are fantastic. I am so happy you updated! It is fun to see all of your adventures. Keep posting and let's get together soon. You still have a raincheck for crepes sometime.
