Ronda and Seville

We drove to Seville one bright sunny morning and stopped in this little city named Ronda on the way. It is divided in half by a deep gorge with an old amazing bridge built over top.

Seville!
Oh what a glorious city! We should have stayed there longer...

This is our self-proclaimed parking attendant for our free lot we used. She points her cane around and shows you where to park, checks your car to make sure you hide all your valuables, and then "guards" it so it is not broken into. All this for a couple euros she had me "secretly" hand to her. I don't know what she would have done if thieves came, she was all of 4 foot 10. Maybe hit them with her cane and yelled slanderous speech with her toothless mouth.

We went on a tour of the Catedral de Santa María de la Sede which was built on top of the Moorish Mosque in the 1400s. It has the Sepulcher of Columbus, but not his remains.

There is also a great tower (Giralda) which had lovely views of the city.

We got lost on our way back (still no GPS--Boo!), but tried to enjoy the views anyway.

It's an orange from the tree. And I am surprised our little parking friend didn't try to charge us for it as well!
